From the Root Zine is a nation-wide publication of writing and visual arts from women of colour. The main goal is to showcase the voices of women of colour in Canada through a high quality publication that is accessible, inexpensive and easy to distribute to counteract the disparity of platforms for such works in traditional literary magazines and gallery spaces.
